We at Vasuki India (hereinafter referred to as Vasuki, “we,” “us,” or “our”, our affiliates, funds, Investment Manager, Sponsor) is committed to protecting the privacy, confidentiality and accuracy of any personal data that we collect, process, record or use in accordance with Indian law and any other applicable laws. This Privacy Policy has been compiled to better serve those who are concerned with how their personal data or information is being used online.

The Data protection in India is currently governed by the Information Technology Act, 200 and rules made thereunder. The Government of India has notified the Information Technology (Reasonable security practices and procedures and sensitive personal data or information) Rules, 2011 (“Data Protection Rules”) under the Information Technology Act, 2000 (“IT Act”). Data Protection provisions under the IT Act governs the collecting, processing and usage of personal data, which is essentially any information relating to natural person, and also gives those individuals certain rights and remedies in respect of the information being shared with those body corporates.

  • Demat Account details like beneficiary account no, Permanent Account Number
  • Generation and storing password (PIN) in encrypted form based on the request from the investor; and
  • Any other information as defined under Rule 3 of the Information Technology (Reasonable security practices and procedures and sensitive personal data or information) Rules, 2011, as may be required by us from time to time in order to provide services to the Provider of Information.

However, any information that is freely available in the public domain is exempt from the above definition.

By entering this Site and providing information to us when subscribing, sending inquiries or respond to a survey, you expressly agree to this Policy. By entering this Site, you will be treated as having given your consent for processing of your Personal Information as set out in this Policy.

The Provider of Information herein shall have the right to approach and modify the Personal Information that has been retained with us. Please note, that we shall not be responsible for the accuracy or correctness of the information that is being provided by the Investors.

We may share your investment account and transaction details and other Personal Information with the intermediaries, whose ARN / intermediary code stamp appears on the application forms / transaction slips.

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your Personally Information unless we provide Users with advance notice. However, we may share certain Personal Information with third parties such as website hosting partners and other parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or serving our Users, post office, local and international couriers and other intermediaries for correspondence with the investor and for making payments to the investor by cheques, drafts, warrants, through Electronic Clearing Services (ECS), NEFT, RTGS etc.

Personal Information will not be transferred to the aforesaid third parties, unless reasonable and appropriate steps have been taken to maintain the required level of data protection. Personal Information shall be communicated to third persons only for reasons consistent with the purposes for which the data were originally collected or other purposes authorized by law.

How do we protect your information?

We have adopted reasonable security practices and procedures and have implemented such reasonable

security practices and safeguards which are appropriate to the sensitivity of the Personal Information. Such reasonable security practices

  1. Our website is scanned on a regular basis for security holes and known vulnerabilities in order to make your visit to our site as safe as possible.

Vasuki has implemented required security practices and standards in line with the global standards and has a comprehensive information security program and policy in place. Vasuki has ensured that all data pertaining to the services provided by the Bank are stored in servers located in India.
